FRONTDESK AGENT

Position Overview: As a Hotel Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring their stay is seamless and enjoyable. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining the high standards of our hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and check them into their rooms efficiently, providing necessary information about the hotel's amenities and services.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, including reservations, room changes, and special accommodations.
• Assist guests with check-out procedures, ensuring accurate billing and resolving any discrepancies.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions.
• Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guests.
• Provide concierge services such as arranging transportation, recommending local attractions, and making restaurant reservations.
• Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues to the satisfaction of the guest and the hotel.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including stocking supplies and keeping informational materials up to date.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hotel front desk or hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Choice advantages Opera, Fidelio) is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
