About the Role

Embassy Suites La Jolla is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our Front Desk team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys interacting with guests, and takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome guests with a warm, professional attitude and provide outstanding customer service.

  • Efficiently complete guest check-ins and check-outs while following hotel procedures.

  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Accurately process reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest transactions.

  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Handle incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.

  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of guest information.

  • Assist in resolving guest service issues and escalating concerns as needed.

  • Follow all hotel policies, procedures, safety standards, and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous customer service, front desk, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
