Environmental Research Group, LLC (ERG) is seeking a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) specialist to work with our team in a project management/leadership role. This position is based in the Sacramento, CA area, and is full-time, salary paid with full benefits. Founded in 2000, ERG is an 8(a) certified, service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVO), economically disadvantaged woman-owned (EDWO) small business (SB). We are a value-driven, employee first company. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of professional maturity, leadership, and the ability to work well with others, and willingness to make mistakes and grow.

• Proven experience in EA and EIS development
• Understanding of implemented regulations of NEPA for federal clients
• Working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) environmental programs
• Demonstrable attention to detail
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple project components at one time
• Ability to work under pressure and meet hard deadlines
• Experience with estimating the level of effort for project tasks
• Proficient in MSWord/Excel/Adobe Acrobat Pro/SharePoint
• Ability to manage time efficiently, be responsive and work independently
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to pass DoD security clearances and background checks
• US citizenship required
