This position reports to the Vice President, Sales.
ROLES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
· Develop a robust understanding of WMF’s customers, services, and capabilities.
· Research potential customers and acquire new sales by calling on buyers, engineers, and management personnel.
· Develop relationships with WMF’s existing customers to enhance relationships, seek additional opportunities, and gather market information.
· Coordinate with WMF management by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly activity reports and other periodic analyses to meet sales metrics and KPIs.
· Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and manufacturing capabilities.
· Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending continuous trainings, educational sessions, and participating in professional organizations.
· Contribute to WMF’s long term strategy by accomplishing related duties as needed.
