Job Summary:
The Sales Team Specialist will meet with prospective and current clients in person, via ZOOM, or over the phone to gather information and/or explain HBI services; successfully close meetings with prospective clients; and liaise with relevant parties to obtain the appropriate documentation needed for new client setups. The Sales Team Specialist will also assist with the process ITIN applications, prepare weekly and monthly Sales reports as needed, and prepare HBI forms and attachments for clients.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Consults with clients to develop an understanding of their financial affairs and needs.
· Reviews financial documents to identify missing or incomplete information or documentation.
· Maintains understanding and knowledge of laws related to HBI services.
· Update the ACT database appropriately per client need.
· Refer clients and prospective clients to the correct department/person both inside and outside HBI.
· Help manage a group mailbox by responding to emails in a timely manner.
· Answer the phone/respond to voice mail messages in a timely manner.
· File and scan documents per company guidelines.
· Schedule meetings for client-facing co-workers and management when needed.
· Assist with HOUSE SOLD inquires/files and other departments as needed.
· Client problem resolution
· Able to organize, set up and take down sales related events as needed.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Ability to understand and apply laws as required for the Sales process.
· Good understanding of Corporate and Domestic Tax & Accounting
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the ACT database.
· Able to multi-task.
· Language in Spanish, Portuguese, French or Mandarin preferred.
· Successfully performs in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
· Associate’s degree in Business, Finance or Marketing field or a minimum of two years of experience in a related field highly preferred.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
