Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager | Elkhart, IN | $120K base salary

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a manufacturer in Elkhart, IN that is looking to hire on a Business Development Manager. This individual will be responsible for meeting with potential customers, understanding their product needs/specifications, and selling product solutions to them. We are searching for outside sales professionals with knowledge of electronic products. Please read below for more details. 

DIRECT HIRE

SALARY: $100-$120K base salary + bonus

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, onsite position. Off at 2:00 on Fridays!

LOCATION: Elkhart, IN

Responsibilities:

• Complete calls/meetings/etc. to connect with potential customers and sell company products.
• Build relationships with potential customers, continuing to touch base and making note of significant information.
• Meet with prospective customers to collect information on their product needs, pain points, and price targets.
• Generate sales proposals, present these to customers, and work through negotiations.
• Complete market research and analytics, understanding market trends and using this information for sales planning.
• Submit quotes and act as the sole point of contact for getting the quote back to the customer.
• Conduct meetings with customers, ensuring the agreement is on track.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, or a related field is required. 
• 5+ years of outside sales experience within the manufacturing industry. 
• MUST HAVE knowledge of electronic products & components.
