The Medical Professional Work Force Analyst (Analyst) manages the Workforce of a group of medical professionals and scheduling processes. In this role, the Analyst manages our EMR and any related Workforce Management System and associated staffing to ensure an orderly scheduling process. The analyst aims to optimize service levels to include scheduling and provider utilization that ensures the efficient use of valuable staffing resources. The Analyst partners with senior-level leaders to determine the schedules required to meet the expected service-level goals. Through the use of strong analytical and communication skills, works to achieve operational excellence by ensuring patient access to our high-quality medical professionals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops schedules that effectively deliver staffing levels that consistently achieve service-level commitments
  • Forecasts future attrition based on historical trends, planned promotions, current tenure, etc., and partners with Finance and Talent Partners to provide insights or recommendations to the Leadership team
  • Manages the monthly employee alignment exercise to ensure all services are covered and provides recommendations based on gaps in tenure, headcount, and revenue
  • Regularly audits employee systems to ensure accurate leveling
  • Participates in the planning and execution of staffing to ensure maximum results and participation
  • Manages non-productive time request process, ensures activities are planned without impacting service levels
  • Reviews and processes scheduling change requests
  • Performs ongoing analysis of current staffing and efficiencies comparing them to current staffing requirements to ensure proper staffing in all services
  • Leads daily staffing review meetings detailing the previous week’s performance, the forecasted performance of the current and future weeks while also identifying any risks
  • Works with Leadership to schedule and optimize team meetings, one on ones, training, and various other activities
  • Oversees productivity of assigned departments by assessing, analyzing, and reporting employee productivity at the individual, departmental and institutional levels
  • Demonstrates the proactive ability to find and define problems, understand business impact, identify solutions, and provide recommendations for corrective action
  • Performs continual analysis of current performance (noting recent historical trends) and conducts real-time re-forecasting to make necessary adjustments in staffing plans and
  • Provides daily/weekly/monthly performance reports to leadership
  • Provides real-time monitoring via available tools and workforce management techniques to make intra-day adjustments in an effort to maximize resource efficiency and achieve service level goals/business objectives
  • Strictly adheres to all Evara Health, HIPAA, HRSA, State, Federal and accreditation agency rules and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • 3 years of scheduling experience preferred.
  • Experience with WFM software and EPI (Aspect, IEX, Genesys, etc.), preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills required.
  • Demonstrated computer and software skills required.
