Job description

Responsibilities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Leads the Workforce Analytics consulting function for the enterprise. Serves as the strategic advisor to HR and business leaders by translating workforce data into actionable insights that improve talent acquisition, retention, development, mobility, and organizational effectiveness. Oversees workforce analytics methodologies, consulting standards, and analyst development while directly supporting the company's most complex business unit needs.
(1) Workforce Analytics Consulting:
  • Serves as lead Workforce Analytics partner for assigned business units, including high-priority enterprise functions.
  • Consults with HR Vice Presidents, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to identify workforce challenges and opportunities.
  • Conducts analyses related but not limited to turnover and retention, workforce planning, promotion and mobility, recruiting effectiveness, leadership pipeline health, talent risk assessment,
  • Develops recommendations that influence business decisions and workforce strategies.

(2) Predictive and Advanced Analytics:
  • Leads development of predictive and diagnostic workforce analytics capabilities.
  • Identifies trends, risks, and emerging workforce issues before they impact business performance.
  • Establishes analytical methodologies, standards, and best practices.

(3) Team Leadership and Capability Building:
  • Directly supervises Workforce Analytics Consultant(s).
  • Reviews analyses, presentations, and deliverables for quality and consistency.
  • Coaches analysts in statistical methods, storytelling, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
  • Supports hiring, onboarding, and development activities.

(4) Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Builds trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders.
  • Delivers executive presentations and workforce insights.
  • Translates technical findings into business-focused recommendations.

(5) Portfolio Management:
  • Prioritizes workforce analytics projects and consulting requests.
  • Oversees allocation of analytics resources across business units.

This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113, USA
This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.
Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, or Human Resources.
  • 5+ years of experience providing data analysis and insights.
  • Over 3 years of experience managing medium to large scale projects.
  • Over 2 years of experience with survey design and methodologies.
  • Over 2 years of experience supporting and/or working with an HRIS or ERP system.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry standard HR metrics, policies, and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of talent management and employee engagement principles.
  • At least some informal experience supervising the work of interns, peers, or subordinates.
  • Strong Quantitative & Problem-Solving skills.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Strong Organizational and Project Management skills.
  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and manipulating large data files.
  • Expert level proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
  • Advanced level proficiency using or extracting data from an HRIS or EAP system (i.e., Oracle HR Cloud, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • At least an intermediate level of proficiency performing testing, quality assurance, and data validation tasks.
  • At least an intermediate level of proficiency working with data warehousing tools and ETL processes (i.e., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Must demonstrate strong self-initiative, forward thinking & ability to manage several efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working and communicating with Senior Leadership teams.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.

Preferred:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, or Human Resources.
  • 1+ years of experience in a direct supervisory role.
  • Experience with Team Development.
  • Experience with Sales and/or Manufacturing Organization(s).
  • Experience with Global Organization(s).
  • Business Unit Experience within Sherwin-Williams.
  • Over 5 years of experience providing data analysis and insights.
  • Expert level proficiency using or extracting data from an HRIS or EAP system (i.e., Oracle HR Cloud, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Expert level proficiency performing data modeling.
  • Expert level of proficiency performing testing, quality assurance, and data validation tasks.
  • Advanced level of proficiency working with data warehousing tools and ETL processes (i.e., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, etc.).
