Our company is the manufacturer of Class 8 vehicles and is proudly located in Summerville, SC, USA. The Administrative & Human Resource Assistant will provide support to the staff with a wide range of responsibility related to facilities adminstration and human resources.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree Business Administration, HR or 5 years related experience
- Proven experience in human resources management, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with managers and employees or independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred

Reports to: Human Resource & Administration Manager
Closely liaises with: All department management team members.
Responsibilities:
To assist the HR & Administration Manager in providing comprehensive HR Administration and Facility Administration support.
- Provide guidance and support to managers in aligning HR practices with business goals.
To act as a first point of contact for all employees to the Human Resources team.
To be the primary contact and systems administrator for queries for our HRIS and to assist in the use and understanding of the system.
To serve as the payroll and benefits coordinator.
To co-ordinate HR recruitment and selection of new employees.
To ensure accurate HR records on all employees including salary and hourly paid employees.
To provide HR statistical reports as required.
To manage business licensing and reporting in North America.
Vehicle insurance & certificates of insurance for vendors.
Misc. Projects Development and Implementation.
