Vice President of IT & YARDI Administrator

A dynamic, fast-growing, publicly-traded real estate company located in Middle Tennessee is seeking a full-time VP of Information Technology. The role requires significant administrative and development experience with Yardi Voyager Commercial and Office 365. In addition, the position will be responsible for maintaining all IT software, firewalls, and data security/storage. Candidate Requirements:
An undergraduate degree required/graduate degree preferred in computer science or related field
5-10 years of experience in information technology development and support including experience with back-up and recovery, firewall protection, and network integration and security
3-5 years of Yardi Voyager Commercial experience including a strong working knowledge on developing custom reports
Significant experience with Microsoft products
Good interpersonal skills with a service mindset
Experience working in a SOX 404 compliant environment a plus
Responsibilities Include:
Maintain and troubleshoot software issues, including Yardi and Microsoft
Perform or oversee software upgrades for Yardi, Microsoft, etc. systems
Develop and maintain a dashboard of key performance indicators for the business, in conjunction with the Executive Management
Develop and maintain a suite of Yardi Reports for use by the Executive Management, Accounting and Asset Management
Serve as Security Administrator and ensure that employees comply with IT security policies and procedures
Oversee maintenance of the company website, including updating information as needed
Serve as the primary liaison with all third-party systems and software vendors
Work with Internal Audit and participate in quarterly IT Compliance reviews
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computers, printers and related systems as needed
Develop and maintain adequate network security, email, and firewall protection
Set-up workstations and software access for new employees
