Illume Fertility (formerly RMA of CT) specializes in the treatment of infertility, including assisted reproductive technologies (ART) like intrauterine insemination (IUI), in-vitro fertilization (IVF), and pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT). Illume Fertility is consistently recognized as an LGBTQ Healthcare Equality Leader and its Integrated Fertility & Wellness program offers holistic support via acupuncture, mental health counseling, support groups and nutritional counseling. lllume Fertility has 5 convenient locations in Norwalk, Danbury, Stamford and Trumbull, CT and Harrison, NY. This position will be based out of our Norwalk location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To promote Illumes core values and commitment to teamwork in all endeavors.
• Post payments to the practice management system.
• Balance all batches and run transactions reports.
• Verify all EFT deposits and scanned checks have been accurately posted by month end.
• Identify line-item denials for medical necessity, non-covered services, and prior authorizations to be delegated appropriately.
• Review EDI’s (electronic data interchange).
• Accurately move balances to patient responsibility.
• Processing write-offs and adjustments from insurance payments.
• Recognizing trends from CPT codes and insurance companies.
• Open and review mail to confirm that live checks are given to accounting/finance.
• Upload and post checks from various insurance websites weekly.
• Post online patient payments from various sites daily.
• Run and post credit cards from email, fax, and uploaded files.
• Accurately post insurance take backs and miscellaneous deductions.
• Review patient encounters and make corrections as needed.
• Add missing CPT codes to encounters and update when needed.
• Mark checks off on bank statement.
• Investigate and locate missing checks/EOBs.
• Any other duties as assigned by Director/Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
