Education Programs Manager

Job Description:
The Education Programs Manager is responsible for all day-to-day organizational, financial and clerical operations of the Festival Education Dept. They will coordinate logistics for all current and future education programs and group sales, including scheduling, financial reports, grant reports, data collection, and hiring of hourly employees and teaching artists. The Education Programs manager assists the Education Director in the execution of all programming and events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Coordinate and manage all group and school group sales with Guest Services
2. Serve as clerical lead in preparation of documents for record keeping, reports, grants, and contract document agreements, compliant with SUU policy.
3. Maintain and update complex Google sheets utilized for Shakespeare competition tabulation and results system.
4. Facilitate Seminar Grove events including both orientations and seminars.
5. Manage logistics of Shakespeare-in-the-schools tour.
6. Curate financial and budget reports as needed.
7. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in arts, education, business, or another relevant field
• 2-3 years' experience in educational settings
• Extensive knowledge of Google Sheets including all of the following: Query, Xlookup, Vlookup, Unique, Filter, Iferror, Importrange, Sort, Sumif, Ifs, Len, Join, Char, Isblank
• Demonstrated managerial and/or business skills
• Ability to positively communicate with diverse groups including public education administrators, community art leaders, artists, teachers, parents and children.
• Positive, mature, and helpful individual who is dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work cooperatively with the public.
• Have a valid driver's license
