Senior Education Specialist - MJ048SES (L-Cat 3.28.01)

Endurion is seeking a Senior Education Specialist for the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) mission in support of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

Clearance: TS/SCI Eligible clearance required

Job Description:

Endurion is looking for a qualified person to support our multi-year contract with the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) mission in support of USSOCOM. As an Engagement Coordinator, support the Senior Engagement Coordinator, PM, Task Lead, and other JSOU staff and faculty by engaging and communicating on behalf and as part of JSOU’s strategic efforts with emphasis on military studies.

Requirements:

  • Advise on matters pertaining to educational effectiveness, including at the student, faculty, program, and institutional levels
  • Collaborate with JSOU leadership on the development and implementation of outcomes-based education policy
  • Provide input on the development of the Integrated Programs of Study
  • Promote the appropriate collection and use of data for continual improvement efforts and informed decision-making capabilities  
  • Collaborate with JSOU leadership on innovative solutions that advance the institution, including an evidence-based faculty and staff advancement program
  • Support efforts that enhance the quality of education and promote reach
  • Pursue DoD and non-DoD education initiatives that may be leveraged by JSOU/SOCOM
  • Recommend areas for increased efficiency and effectiveness, including but not limited to, curriculum design/management, education systems, assessment, accreditation, strategic plan
  • Ph.D. in educational psychology or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience with SOF and Joint Professional Military Education
  • 5+ years’ experience with assessment in and evaluation of educational effectiveness, including successful interaction with military and civilian stakeholders and accrediting bodies
  • Understanding of PME and SOF education policy

Work Location:

JSOU Campus, MacDill AFB, FL

0800-1700 Mon-Fri adjusted hours as needed.

Travel:
