  • Claims manager responsible for technical oversight of aviation liability claims for North America supervising in-house adjusting staff, outside independent adjusters and attorneys
  • Will be primary contact on key client accounts as well as for brokers
  • Provide appropriate indemnity and expense reserving philosophy for the company
  • Handle an inventory of claims and provide supervision of lawsuits for third party litigation
  • Conduct limited file reviews
  • Bill time on billable files
  • Assist with marketing presentations for new business and the retention of current clients

Qualifications

  • BA in Business Administration or equivalent discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 8-12 years of progressively more complex aviation or premises liability claim adjusting experience
  • Prefer advanced designation such as AIC, SCLA, or CPCU
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
