Job Title: Customer Service Associate - 29002 (Mailroom Clerk)
Position Type: Temporary - Full time
Shift: Mon to Fri 9am-5pm
Pay Rate: $16.00

Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate to join our team and perform various Mail Center activities with a focus on maintaining high levels of customer care and operational efficiency. The responsibilities include sorting, metering, folding, inserting, and handling the delivery and pickup of mail. The candidate must be capable of lifting heavy boxes, files, or paper as needed and demonstrate flexibility in meeting customer demands in a high-volume production environment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Operate mailing, copy, or scanning equipment.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties.
  • Handle time-sensitive material, including confidential and urgent packages.
  • Scan incoming mail to recipients and perform file purges and pulls.
  • Create and ship files, providing backfill when needed.
  • Enter information into spreadsheets on a daily basis.
  • Identify charges and match them to billing.
  • Sort and deliver mail and small packages.
  • Maintain logs and reporting documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Participate in cross-training and perform additional duties as assigned, such as filing and outgoing shipments.
  • Adhere consistently to business procedure guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Take direction from the supervisor or site manager.

Key Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. with or without accommodations.
  • Willingness and availability to work additional hours if assigned.
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
  • Ability to meet the employer's attendance policy.

Minimum Requirements

  • Highly technical on the computer, proficient in keyboarding, and experienced in the Windows environment(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service-related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Experience running mail posting equipment

"The pay rate for this position is $16.00/hr; however, base pay rate offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered"
