AR/AP Specialist

We are a crucial supplier for some of the world's largest manufacturers, sourcing and distributing high-end electronic components like semiconductors, integrated circuits, FPGAs, MCUs, and many more. We solve complex supply chain problems for our clients.

Summary

The AR/AP specialist is responsible for managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions of the company. The AR/AP specialist will ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliations. The AR/AP specialist will also assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit preparation.

Responsibilities

• Collect Payments and follow up on overdue accounts
• Process vendor invoices and payments and resolve any discrepancies
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
• Manage related inboxes and documents
• Maintain accurate and complete records of AR/AP transactions
• Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit preparation
• Comply with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Hours and Benefits

• Work hours: Mon-Thur 9 AM-5:30 PM, Fri 9 AM-4:30 PM

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field desired
• At least 2 years of experience in AR/AP or general accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
• Spanish/ English bilingual desired but not required
