Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the human resources assistant is to support various areas of Onsite Dealer Solutions HR operations such as but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. The HR assistant is to partner with the Human Resources Manager by handling day-to-day administrative tasks, maintaining records and maintaining/processing information while preserving confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Recruitment support: Assisting in posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Onboarding assistance: Helping new hires complete paperwork, facilitating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Personnel file maintenance: Organizing and updating employee records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations.
• Policy and procedure communication: Distributing and explaining HR policies and procedures to employees, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Employee relations support: Assisting with employee communications, addressing basic employee inquiries, and escalating issues to HR management when necessary.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED-equivalent experience may substitute for education.
• One year of experience in Human Resources
• Professional, well-developed interpersonal and communication skills necessary
• Strong organizational, prioritization and verbal/written communication skills
• Proficient at PC accounting, Microsoft Word and Excel

The position requires a significant level of interpersonal skills. A significant degree of tact and diplomacy is necessary.

This position requires a high level of discretion due to handling sensitive information regarding HR information.
