Clinical Laboratory Supervisor

We are hiring a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor for one of our clients in Lakewood, WA.

Job Description:

• Directly hire, support, and supervise laboratory staff including Clinical/Medical Technologists and Laboratory Technicians who perform complex patient testing in the areas of Phlebotomy, Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Immunochemistry, Serology and Urinalysis
• Maintain quality control and quality management programs
• Communicate knowledgeably with medical providers, nurses, and administrators, regarding laboratory and patient issues
• Perform all inspections and responses to maintain CAP/CMS Accreditation
• Manage supplies and equipment to keep laboratory operational.

Who should apply

• ASCP certification or equivalent, and
• Masters* degree in Medical Technology or equivalent applicable laboratory field
• And, 4 years of clinical, chemical, public health, or related lab experience as a Lab Technician; 2 of these years in a lead capacity.
