Director of Health Information Management/Medical Records

Parker Jewish Institute is seeking a Full Time Director of Health Information Management/Medical Records to provide management of the medical records staff, while ensuring optimal and timely processing of health records, and administrative oversight of the medical records function for the facility. This is an exciting position and key management role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis.
We would like to speak to those who have a College Degree in Health Care Administration, Business or a related field, along with 3+ years of management or supervisory experience, preferably in a nursing facility, hospital or healthcare company's medical records division, with working knowledge of health information management, including medical terminology. ICD-10 coding and HIPPA. Excel proficiency required, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. RHIA or RHIT certification a plus.
