Overview:

The Senior Project Manager’s primary role is planning, managing and executing multiple medium to large complex projects enterprise wide. Responsible for confirming project scope, schedule and resource budgets are met while ensuring the member and/or internal customer experience is the foremost consideration. The Senior Project Manager works as a change agent with cross-functional teams, managing end-to-end delivery. The incumbent will inspire teams to a high level of productivity and performance; ensuring stakeholders are informed as to the status of projects and initiatives while working with project owners to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks. Provides mentoring and training to project managers, stakeholders, teams, and owners.


What You Will Do:

  • Model, recognize, and reward the behaviors that align with Premier America's Core Values.
  • Manage vendor(s) throughout assigned projects as agreed upon with Business Owner, which may include vendor selection, coordination with vendor project manager, coordination of vendor work breakdown structures and other defined deliverables.
  • Support the management and reporting of project success metrics across Premier America’s project portfolio.
  • Understand operational processes to support the design of efficient, effective processes and to identify opportunities for automation and workflow to create the highest level of efficiency.
  • Conduct project closures, ensuring proper operational integration of effort including measurement systems to monitor project success criteria, identification of lessons learned, and evaluation of the project and project team members.
  • Assist in securing appropriate resources to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Demonstrate leadership and provide direction, mentoring and support to project teams, project managers, project owners, project sponsors, and others throughout the organization as applicable.
  • Identify, implement, and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project requirements and timelines.
  • Develop full-scale project plans including tasks, milestones, and dependencies. h Assumes responsibility for planning, managing, and executing medium to large-scale projects.
  • Lead the planning, documenting and implementation of medium to large complex projects including collaborating with project owners on the definition of the project scope, goals, deliverables, business requirements, measurements, and success criteria to ensure project outcomes are of high quality and meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Premier America staff and management, and outside vendors to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify, plan for, and monitor project risks and issues, proactively resolving, mitigating, or escalating as appropriate.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, calling out obstacles, risks, and successes.
  • Provide meeting recaps and follow-up for accountability.
  • Effectively lead organization-wide program and project efforts.
  • Operationally manage Team Members assigned to the project team; scope of projects may include Technology and Digital initiatives.
  • Provide status and communicate updates to the Senior Leadership and Business Review Teams
  • Work with key stakeholders on the project or program, enterprise wide.
  • Resolve project roadblocks and escalate production issues.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Deep collaboration with Business, Engineering & Digital leadership to clearly determine program goals, milestones, steps, dependencies, and owners.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Manage change control for ongoing project.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Takes initiative and independently plans, organizes, coordinates, and performs work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved.
  • Provide guidance to other areas of the organization.
  • Manages a minimum of 4-5 projects at any given time.
  • Additional duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements:

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the field of Project or Program Management.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited college or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing large scale projects or programs, working closely with Senior Executives.
  • Successful track record of working between multiple project stakeholders, technical program managers, and software development teams.
  • A high degree of comfort presenting to senior leadership, business stakeholders.
  • Ability to independently establish priorities and proceed with objectives, requiring a depth of functional knowledge in project areas required.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Management experience that includes leading complex, corporate-wide projects, with experience managing diverse and complex technology and digital projects.
  • Mentoring or leadership experience.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program techniques and methods, and program/project management software (MS Project etc.), ServiceNow, Salesforce. Familiar with Agile frameworks and Digital products rollouts.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to handle multiple changing priorities.
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills sufficient to make decisions regarding project and daily work that is complex in nature.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct meetings, respond to questions, and deliver formal presentations to all levels of the organization.

Pay Grade Info:

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State. We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is: $ 91,000 - $112,000 annually.
