G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add an Administrative Assistant to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport operations. (FLL)

Title: Administrative Assistant

Pay Rate: $22.00

Shift: Mon.-Fri. Days

Job Type: Full- Time

The administrative assistant provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the day-to-day administrative operation of the company.

What does an Administrative Assistant do?

· Perform clerical duties as directed.

· Answer telephone, screen calls, take messages, and provide information according to established policies.

· Greeting and direct visitors.

· Answer routine inquiries and draft correspondence.

· Complete and maintain personnel files, where applicable.

· Assist in the setting up of the office system.

· Order office supplies.

· Assist in the care and maintenance of department equipment.

· Reviews files for compliance and notifies the Manager of compliance deficiencies.

· Inform the supervisor of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain the cleanliness of the immediate work area, and report maintenance needs.

· Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from clients, staff, and the public.

· Attending meetings and in-services as required identification badges must always be visible.

· Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achieving company objectives.

. Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)

· Perform other duties as requested.

 

What skills are required to Join the Team?

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of office experience
  • One (1) year of payroll experience
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Word processing and, typing and filing skills.
  • Two (2) years of computer experience.
  • Ability to work as a team while focusing on details.

Language Skills:

· Ability to communicate effectively in the English language

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks

· Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public

· Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills

If you have these additional skills, it’s a bonus!

· Bookkeeping and mathematical aptitude

· Experience with ADP

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
