Sales Manager

We have a role in Monroe, NC for a Sales Manager!

Requirements:

• 3+ years of moving experience as a crew lead/driver and/or in sales.
• Willingness and strong desire to improve skills in closing jobs and performing sales tasks.
• Comfortable with a hybrid role involving both on-the-truck and office tasks.

Preferences:

• Sales experience in the moving industry or related field.
• Social confidence to connect with realtors, leasing agents, and other professionals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Estimates:

• Conduct in-home estimates and respond quickly to customer requests.
• Provide accurate cost estimates for moving services, explaining all options and coverage to customers.
• Maintain communication with customers from first contact through signing.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of customer interactions and follow-ups.

Marketing/Networking:

• Build community relations and engage new markets.
• Conduct initial visits to potential referral sources, including realtors, property management companies, and senior service facilities.
• Attend industry and networking events to generate leads.
• Maintain current records of all referral source contacts.

Compensation:

• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $60,000 - $65,000.
• Hourly rate of $20, with a 4% commission for booked jobs.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
• Two Saturdays a month.
• A few evenings to attend sponsored events.
