About This Position:

This position requires that you live within 1 hour commute of Cle Elum, WA on the east side of Snoqualmie Pass. A relocation bonus is available to qualified candidates. This role must work Tuesdays - Saturdays. Atlas Networks is a Seattle based telecommunications company founded in 2008. Atlas is committed to providing the Seattle and Suncadia community with the fastest and most reliable Internet service available. We offer speeds up to 10 Gbps while avoiding unnecessary fees and bandwidth caps. Along with Internet, we specialize in Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), VoIP, and managed network services.

Atlas Networks is seeking a Low-Voltage Installation Technician to support the technology services we offer to our growing customers located in the Suncadia community. The successful candidate has a positive attitude, natural technical curiosity, ability to problem solve, and is highly customer service oriented. A solid work ethic with an emphasis on quality workmanship and organization is also a must. Job duties will encompass customer premise equipment installation, interacting with and supporting residential customers. This includes installation and support of network equipment in homes. This position is the front-line representation of Atlas Networks to the customer and therefore needs to be able to work cohesively with customers and internal team members. The right candidate will be that person who “goes the extra mile” to not only satisfy the job to be done but stands out of the crowd as a leader in Internet/TV/and telephone service providers.

The responsibility of this position is managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time. The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. A somewhat faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detailed, specialized work is the major focus. The person in this position will require clearly defined work, responsibilities, and reporting relationships, ongoing and thorough training opportunities to develop expertise and increase confidence, and frequently expressed appreciation of the person’s competence, conscientiousness, and loyalty. The position will provide security in a stable work environment, allowing the person to plan for, focus on and complete tasks on hand. When changes in the nature of the work occur, the person in this position will need direction, training and support. The position will generally be task oriented, requiring someone with a conservative, careful, and cautious approach to work.

This role is required to work both independently and as part a team. Candidate must be able to lift and carry upwards of 50lbs, climb ladders, and work at various heights while successfully performing job duties. The candidate will be required to work at various job sites, both indoors and outdoors, while being exposed to various weather conditions here in the Pacific Northwest. Candidates must have the ability to pull fiber optic cabling outdoors, interior low-voltage cabling, use common hand tools, terminate Ethernet/Coax cabling, and operate power tools. Fiber cabling experience is a bonus. This position is full time with an excellent growth potential. This job requires on-call rotation for after-hours emergency responses.

Core Responsibilities:

An exceptional customer-oriented focus.

Customer infrastructure, router, and wireless equipment installations and basic troubleshooting.

Familiarity with Audio/Visual systems configuration and operation.

Low Voltage Cabling rough-in and termination experience desired but can be trained.

Low Voltage Cabling testing and documentation experience desired but can be trained.

Build-out of MDF and IDF (racks, patch panels, wire managers, network electronics, etc.) experience desired but can be trained.

MPOE and CPE integration, cutover and connection within building demarcation point. Experience desired but can be trained.

Installation and on-site configuration/setup of equipment including radios, routers & switches, security cameras, etc. Experience desired but can be trained.

Additional duties that may be assigned by management as part of the day to day operations of the company.

 

Pay Range:

$20.00 - $23.00 an hour
