Marketing Communications Director

Position: Full-Time, Marketing Communications Director (40hrs/wk)

Reports to: Jeremy McKee - Executive Pastor of Weekend Experience

Experience and Skills Needed:

Marketing, Project Management, Design, and Leading Teams 

Overall Purpose and Responsibilities:

The Marketing & Communications Director will lead and provide strategic oversight for the marketing strategies and communications plans essential for the growth, health, and development of VantagePoint Church.

You are:

• A gifted designer and communicator.
• A Creative who is passionate about telling stories that move people to action.
• A team player with obvious leadership and project management skills.
• A self-starter who takes initiative and manages time well.
• Able to analyze trends and data to understand where we are and where we should go.

You will:

• Ensure that the overall vision of the church is being communicated effectively in every facet of the marketing strategy and communication plan.
• Help maintain and refine the branding and style guidelines of VantagePoint Church in all communications.
• Oversee all graphic design efforts at VantagePoint Church.
• Standardize messaging across all communications platforms (digital, in person, print).
• Oversee, update and monitor VPC’s website, app, social media platforms, and all other communications platforms.
• Capture and share the life changing stories happening at VantagePoint Church.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and communications plans for all campaigns, events, and other important initiatives.
• Be an integral part of the Creative Team.
• Oversee all internal and external communications re: important information, crisis communications, etc.

• Have a growing and healthy walk with the Lord.
• Participate in God honoring relationships, accountability, community, and generosity (as specified in the VantagePoint Staff Handbook).
