Overview

Vision Technologies is searching for a skilled, self-motivated training coordinator to support our training disciplines within our Datacenter Business Unit. You will enjoy being encouraged and supported by a knowledgeable team who brings a variety of concepts to the table to develop employees

Responsibilities

• Communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals.
• Responsible for managing, designing, coordinating and project managing the development of all Business Unit training programs.
• The Training Coordinator is responsible for working with internal and external subject matter experts to ensure the Business Unit has robust training syllabi, curriculums, and class materials.
• managers with the creation of role-based training paths and in concert with the company's Learning and Development Manager.
• Scheduling and coordinating new hire and promoted employee's onboarding and continuous development training paths for all Datacenter Business Unit team members.
• Scheduling and coordinating all Datacenter Business Unit technical and safety trainings.
• Administering and monitoring the company's toolbox talk programs within the Business Unit.
• Maintaining all employee technical and safety certifications in the Learning Management System.
• Assist Datacenter Business Unit team members with obtaining 3rd party trainings and certifications.
• Coordinate training for our subcontractors and partners.
• Liaise and coordinate technical training with our vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure managers have defined and documented quarterly KPI's, continuous feedback, and recognition for their direct reports.
• Communicate status, progress, or project updates to the management team.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
• Logistics experience (Military Veterans encouraged to apply)
• Learning Management System experience preferred
• Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite
• 3 years of training or training project management experience
• Knowledge of adult learning concepts
• Agile in willingness and ability to take on different projects or learn new areas
• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once, including scheduling and monitoring employee progress
• Excellent customer service skills, to help team members and new hires feel welcome and comfortable
• Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills
• Experience developing or co-developing training content preferred
