The mission of the Global Technical Enablement team is to enable the Splunk technical field and partners with knowledge and skills needed to effectively perform their roles and responsibilities, by providing timely, relevant and learner centric Enablement Programs to become trusted technical leaders and advisors to support our customers’ business outcomes.

We are looking for an innovative and experience Technical Enablement Partner Program Manager. This position reports into the Global Director of Technical Enablement.

Role:

To grow the demand for Splunk in the market through education and ensure partners can effectively build their capabilities to deliver outcomes with Splunk, this role will ensure that the partner ecosystem has the technical knowledge and skills needed to achieve their respective business goals during their engagement with Splunk and our customers. By demonstrating technical background and knowledge of the partner’s roles and how to effectively enable them, this role will provide support to the existent Splunk Partner Program and collaborate closely with our Partner organization to successfully design and implement enablement programs for partners to progress in their tier and proficiency journey and to achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical enablement efforts to support our Splunk Partner program
  • Collaborate with our Education, Tech Enablement and our Partner Organizations defining priorities and requirements to support the Partners ecosystem
  • Build collateral and technical enablement paths to support the Partner Business Motions (Sell, Manage, Build and Advise)
  • Implement technical enablement curriculum and paths for Partner progression (Enrolled, Associate, Premier, Elite) and enablement (Services, Specialization, Industry)
  • Work closely with the Senior Global Partner Technical Enablement manager, Technical Enablement, content development and Certifications and Accreditations teams to develop Partner badges and enablement curriculums.
  • Build Partners role-based skills matrix and Splunk product competencies
  • Evaluate the efficiency of the Partners enablement programs to build their capabilities
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience delivering and crafting technical training at Enterprise/SaaS companies
  • Understand the partner facing technical and business ecosystem including the diverse enablement needs of various partners type like Distributors, Managed service Providers, OEM, Resellers, Technology Alliance Partners, Global System Integrators, etc.
  • Knowledge of Splunk, monitoring, networking, and security; Enterprise software and Cloud technologies
  • Proven ability to influence and closely partner with:
  • Partners Organization Leadership to ensure our enablement programs are meeting the needs of their Partners programs and initiatives.
  • Subject Matter Experts and Content developers to create instructionally sound, engaging, and interactive technical enablement content
  • Global Field Enablement team members who are creating sales enablement and product-based learning experiences
  • Education and Certification teams for Accreditation and Learning Paths development
  • Proven ability to work independently with a “make it happen” attitude; able to operate and execute in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity; problem solver and quick learner
  • Experience with education technology such as learning management systems, sales enablement platforms, video services, content development tools, and virtual delivery platforms

Education: Bachelors' degree in a technical field.
