Job Summary:

Tutor Perini is seeking a highly motivated and experienced BIM Coordinator to support the BIM Manager on a complex infrastructure project in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects and be capable of working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Description:

  • Assist the BIM Manager in fulfilling client BIM contract requirements

  • Assis in setting up and executing clash detection workflows, review clash results and translate them into actionable coordination issues for design and trade partner teams.

  • Generate and maintain regular progress reports

  • Support the conditioning and adoption of milestone Revit models for 4D/5D simulations in Synchro 4D Pro. Coordinate with the project scheduler and leadership team to align model data with construction sequencing and cost data.

  • Perform quality control reviews of BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with Level of Development (LOD) and Level of Information (LOI) requirements.

  • Collaborate with the BIM Manager, Asset Manager, and Trade Partner BIM teams to ensure BIM deliverables meet asset management and as-built documentation requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience on civil infrastructure projects, or projects of similar scale and/or complexity

  • Minimum 1 years of experience providing BIM coordination services on complex infrastructure projects.

  • Proven ability to manage BIM updates, run clash detection, and communicate results effectively.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Solid understanding of building systems and construction sequencing.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction contracts and technical documentation.

  • Preferred software skills: Autodesk, Navisworks, Synchro 4D Pro, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Power BI, Autodesk Recap.
