The LA Clippers and Intuit Dome are seeking a dynamic HR professional to help shape our organizational culture and drive employee success in our fast‑paced, event‑driven environment. As HR Manager and Employee Relations Lead, you will be a strategic partner to our arena‑specific departments, ensuring our people feel supported, valued, and empowered to excel. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, navigate complex workplace issues with empathy and expertise, and optimize the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding. What You Will Do

Employee Relations

  • Serve as primary HR partner to Fan Experience, Security, Arena Operations, Retail, and Answers Portal teams
  • Conduct thorough, impartial workplace investigations and provide recommendations.
  • Partner with managers to address performance challenges through coaching, feedback, and progressive discipline
  • Design and implement solutions that improve employee experience and organizational outcomes
  • Navigate leave and accommodation requests with discretion and compliance
  • Create feedback channels that foster psychological safety and open communication
  • Monitor general HR email inbox and respond appropriately

Talent Operations & Lifecycle

  • Facilitate and optimize onboarding processes for diverse employee populations, including event staff and IATSE Local 33 members
  • Coordinate new hire documentation (I-9 verification, background checks, communications).
  • Manage offboarding processes including exit coordination and change of status letters
  • Serve as the HR contact for IATSE Local 33 for all matters, including but not limited to onboarding, payroll processing, work eligibility and record keeping
  • Coordinate first day communication and logistics including welcome emails and orientation schedules
  • Manage E-Verify program and ensure compliance with program requirements, including work authorization renewals
  • Leverage HR technology (Greenhouse, ADP, ABI, and HR Acuity) to measure effectiveness and identify trends
  • Partner with leaders to identify staffing needs and develop talent pipelines

HR Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and California‑specific employment laws
  • Maintain and communicate HR policies and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor wage and hour compliance, including for minors with work permits
  • Complete employment and wage verifications for current and former employees
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compensation processing
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and digital files in accordance with company policy and local, state and federal regulations.

Your Background, Skills and Qualifications Required Qualifications

HR Expertise & Strategic Thinking

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated ability to handle complex employee relations matters independently
  • 2+ years conducting workplace investigations, synthesizing findings, and making sound recommendations
  • Deep knowledge of employment law (federal, state and local) with the ability to apply regulations to real‑world scenarios
  • Proven ability to balance employee advocacy with business needs and compliance requirements
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and writing reports.

Relationship Building & Influence

  • Exceptional ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels – from frontline team members to senior leadership
  • Skilled at de‑escalating conflict, facilitating difficult conversations, and finding mutually beneficial solutions
  • Experience partnering with managers to develop their people leadership capabilities
  • Competence working with diverse teams across different functions and backgrounds
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Systems & Analytical Skills

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (ADP and ABI experience highly valued)
  • Comfortable using HR technology for case management, analytics, and trend identification (HR Acuity or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, measure outcomes, and recommend data‑driven improvements.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite for documentation, reporting and communication.
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS

Special Requirements of the Job

This position requires frequent bending, ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, exposure to loud sounds, exposure to heights and extensive walking through the building. Opened in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built different—it will redefine fans’ expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.

Host of the 2026 NBA All‑Star game and Olympic Basketball in 2028, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full‑sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double‑sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.

Compensation

The range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 annual compensation. The compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The role is classified as exempt.
