Full Job Description: Building Grounds Site Supervisor
Salary/Compensation:
Based on size of school, number of students, and existence of boiler and/or pool
Hourly 10 | H-10 ($15.38 - $19.78)
Hourly 11 | H-11 ($16.07 - $21.00)
Hourly 12 | H-12 ($16.78 - $22.46)
Hourly 13 | H-13 ($17.51 - $23.50)
Hourly 14 | H-14 ($18.09 - $25.00)
Hourly 15 | H-15 ($18.89 - $27.50)

Position Summary: Responsible for the general cleanliness and appearance of the entire
facility. The BGSS makes continuous checks of the building and grounds, keeping the site
leader and zone manager informed of any deficiencies. Submit routine service requests
through the work order system (Maximo) for any repairs that are beyond their capability. Call all
emergencies into the Maintenance work order desk, and report to the site leader and zone
manager. The BGSS maintains intercommunication with the evening custodian(s) on any
problems relating to the cleanliness and appearance of their respective area(s). May be
responsible for maintaining a current city license to operate the boiler and to maintain the
swimming pool if applicable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Computer skills and ability to communicate on a professional level (verbal and written)
Experience:
• Previous experience as a custodian
• One (1) year supervisory experience
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
• Clear understanding of different cleaning products and equipment
• City license to operate boiler and maintain swimming pool if applicable
Other:
• Able or willingness to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
