Job Duty 1 -
Support Associate Athletic Director with oversight for all turf and grounds operations, general athletic grounds, and landscaping.\
Job Duty 2 -
Develop and implement plans for the successful maintenance of all athletic fields and grounds, including but not limited to proper irrigation, fertilization, and pesticide applications.
Job Duty 3 -
Oversee the athletic grounds and turf maintenance budgets, which include personnel, motorpool, and equipment maintenance, in a fiscally responsible manner.
Job Duty 4 -
Manage GT Athletics vehicle fleet and motorpool, ensuring all vehicles meet campus policies and Department of Transportation regulations.
Job Duty 5 -
Establish and implement grounds and landscape maintenance goals, policies, and procedures.
Job Duty 6 -
Monitor quality assurance for all athletic fields, including adhering to NCAA and ACC regulations, and providing safe and aesthetically pleasing fields.
Job Duty 7 -
Purchase, maintain, and manage inventory of athletic grounds, maintenance equipment, and supplies.
Job Duty 8 -
Supervise the conversion and protection of athletic fields during special events; manage athletic grounds and field renovation projects as assigned.
Job Duty 9 -
Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements
Associate's Degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience
Five to six years of job related experience.
