Title: Line Cook

Reports To: eden Sous Chef

Hours: Varies according to tasting schedule, business needs

Rate: $19-23/hour, based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • Food Handler's certification
  • 3+ years kitchen experience, with at least 1 year exposure to fine dining
  • Advanced culinary knowledge and excellent knife skills
  • Ability to read, write, and follow recipes
  • Effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Available to work nights and weekends

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Following station mise-en-place lists, setting up station, and prepping items for service
  • Working with eden Sous Chef, bring note of any missing items, change in prep lists/pars, or ordering needs
  • Maintaining organization of prep/storage areas, regularly rotating products and cleaning

In addition to the above, position will be exposed to menus/production for Paramount Events, and occasionally have the opportunity the work off-premise events.
