Mama Russo's Production Cook

Mama Russo's in Ishpeming is seeking a highly skilled Production Cook to join our team. As a Production Cook, you will play a key role in helping with the production of retail items sold in grocery stores. You will also have the opportunity to learn deli salad production and catering production.

Responsibilities:

  • Helping with dishes, maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen and work area
  • Helping out with daily and weekly cleaning tasks, sweeping and mopping at the end of the work day and any other tasks that need to be done on a daily basis
  • Must be willing to follow USDA guidelines and rules for the production facility.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year experience as a line cook or cook in an institutional setting
  • Experience working with a variety of kitchen equipment to include ovens, steam kettles, knives, mixers, stoves, scales, meat grinder, food processors, meat slicer
