Posting Summary
The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Medical School is seeking to hire a faculty member in the division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Candidates should be fellowship-trained and board-eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine. At RWJMS Pediatric Hospitalists see patients and mentor students and residents on our inpatient units, well newborn nurseries and same day medical units of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital (BMSCH). BMSCH is located on our academic child health campus, which also includes the PSEG Children's Specialized Hospital (for acute Rehabilitation) and the Child Health Institute of NJ. The children's hospital is adjacent to the RWJUH adult hospital which is connected via a bridge to the Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ - the only NCI designated center in the state of New Jersey.
We are seeking a candidate who has a passion for teaching and enjoys caring for children with a wide variety of conditions including those who are medically complex. We value leadership. Applicants with research training and a portfolio of scholarly productivity are encouraged to apply. As a part of Rutgers University RWJMS, faculty have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in the basic and social sciences, other clinical arms of the university (e.g. Social Work, Pharmacy) and the Rutgers School of Public Health, among others.
