Job Summary:
• This position requires a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team in East New York.
• As a contract role, you will work onsite from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours a week.
• The role involves specimen collection, quality control, and patient interactions, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to medical protocols.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of venipuncture and laboratory equipment
• Experience with adults and geriatrics is preferred
Qualifications:
• Experience in Pediatrics, Infusion, Chemo, or Oncology is beneficial but not required
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Strong communication skills for interaction with patients and staff
