Job description
We have an exciting Full Time Front Desk Agent position at one of the top Courtyard's in our country, set on the beautiful waterfront in Liberty Station/Pt Loma. We are looking for a reliable hospitality SUPERSTAR to join our service-focused team.
The best candidates for consideration will have at least 1 year hotel front desk experience and knowledge of Courtyard's FOSSE PMS System. Hotels are a rewarding , unique setting open 24-hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Availability to work any shift as early as 6AM and as late as 11PM, and any day as necessary (i.e. no set schedule).
Each associate is expected to perform the essential functions of the position and any other reasonable, job-related duties assigned by management, with or without reasonable accommodation, as required by law.

What You'll Do:
- Be the friendly face of our hotel, greeting guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Efficiently manage room assignments and key distribution.
- Stay informed about hotel events, ensuring smooth guest experiences.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs seamlessly, creating memorable first and last impressions.
- Process payments and prepare accurate guest invoices.
- Keep the front desk organized, clean, and safe.
- Serve as the go-to expert for hotel amenities and local hotspots.
- Recommend top dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby.
- Manage guest communications, including mail and messages, with discretion.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements like a pro.
- Respond calmly and effectively during emergencies.
- Answer calls promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Assist guests with in-room features for maximum comfort.
- Log and follow up on guest feedback to ensure satisfaction.
- Communicate guest needs to the right departments quickly and clearly.
- Resolve billing issues with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Handle transactions securely and with integrity.
- Master property management systems and tech tools to streamline operations.
- Promote current rates, offers, and hotel packages with enthusiasm.
- Conduct engaging tours of guestrooms and meeting spaces for prospective guests.
- Jump in wherever needed with a positive, can-do attitude.
What We're Looking For:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service experience with a talent for making people feel welcome.
- Previous hotel front desk experience is a plus but not required.
