Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Seeking a Patient Registration Representative I to join our admitting team. This role ensures patients have smooth access to care by handling registration, insurance verification, and financial responsibility discussions in a professional and compassionate manner.
ResponsibilitiesRegister and pre-register patients for outpatient and inpatient services
Verify insurance coverage, collect copays/coinsurance, and process payments
Maintain accurate patient information in hospital systems
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, physicians, and staff
Support patient financial eligibility screenings when needed
1+ year of experience in a medical office, hospital, or billing environment
High school diploma (or equivalent) required; continuing education preferred
Knowledge of insurance processes and medical terminology strongly preferred
Strong computer and typing skills (45+ WPM)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Bilingual (Spanish or Mandarin) a plus
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
Be part of a patient-focused team in a respected hospital
