Systems Support Engineer

Our client, a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences, is looking for a Systems Support Engineer based out of Pleasanton, CA. Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Pay Rate: $47/hr - $62/hr on W2 Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401K

Work under general supervision, and support the Cobas Liat analyzers. Maintain diagnostic equipment with precision, uphold GxP/quality standards, and communicate effectively across teams — ensuring lab systems run efficiently and compliantly.

Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations and tracking of the Cobas Liat analyzers.
  • Execute qualifications, update documentation, and maintain accurate records on EDMS
  • Manage shipping, receiving, and labeling of analyzers.
  • Communicate proactively with internal teams and attend daily status meetings.
  • Ensure GxP compliance and adherence to lab safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's (required) or Bachelor's (preferred) in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in instrument or systems support, preferably within the medical device or diagnostics industry.
  • Experience with equipment qualification, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with medical instruments, hand tools, and equipment management systems.
