We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to develop and administer all activities associated with procurement and distribution of materials.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and administering procedures for procurement of materials and supplies for the company, including policies and procedures for bid proposals and procurement of goods and services
  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships with suppliers and ensure all pricing and rebates are in the best interest of the company.
  • Oversee all Staff purchasing for entire company to ensure proposals and procurements are within company policies
  • Analyze purchasing trends, re-evaluate current suppliers, evaluate prospective suppliers and negotiate new rates
  • Establish, build, and maintain positive relationships with current and potential vendors
  • Establish and negotiate rebates with current vendors.
  • Works closely with the Operations team during bidding processes and throughout the entirety of all projects.
  • Facilitates FE & PE rotations with Preconstruction


Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies and accounting
  • Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, set priorities and take initiative
  • Excellent relationship building skills and ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and negotiating skills
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, presentation skills are a must. Bilingual a plus
  • 10-20% estimated travel
  • 5-8 years Purchasing and/or Project Management experience in construction preferred
  • Proficient with MSFT Office Applications
