PMO Support Analyst II
Location- Birmingham, AL
Contract- 1 Year
Experience Requirement:5 to 10 years of experience in project administration, project coordination, or a similar project support role.
Position SummaryThe PMO Support Analyst II plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution and administration of projects within the Project Management Office (PMO). This position supports project success by managing documentation, facilitating communication, tracking milestones, and ensuring compliance with project methodologies and timelines. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and highly adaptable to evolving project needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and coordination support across multiple projects.
Manage and maintain project schedules, documentation, reports, and action items.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, and status updates.
Assist in the preparation of project status reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Monitor and track project progress, risks, and performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
Facilitate team communications and organize meetings, agendas, and follow-up activities.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive project information and documentation.
Assist with the development of project workflows and process improvements.
Interpret and analyze project data and trends to support strategic decisions.
Project Management Tools: Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, or equivalent.
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately, and contribute to resolution.
Team Collaboration: Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret project metrics and generate insights from data.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
Certifications such as CAPM, PMI-ACP, or Project+ are a plus.
