Job description

We are looking for an Aggregate Foreman to join our team. As an Aggregate Foreman with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for supervising daily aggregate operations, leading production crews, and ensuring safe, efficient, and productive operations. This role oversees personnel, equipment, production activities, and material flow while making daily decisions to support operational goals and quality standards. The Aggregate Foreman works closely with the crew and is expected to lead by example, assist with hands-on tasks when needed, and have the knowledge and ability to perform the various activities required in aggregate operations.

About the Role 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct operations in coordination with the Plant Manager and Operations coordinator.
  • Review daily equipment inspection reports and respond accordingly.
  • Monitor all plant personnel to make sure all training, safety, production and staffing needs are being met.  
  • Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately 
  • Responsible for maintaining quality of all products 
  • Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards as established 
  • Assist with equipment repairs and housekeeping as needed 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams as both a leader and a participant.
  • A working knowledge of customer specifications will be necessary to ensure a quality project avoiding re-work or punch list work.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills; building rapport, listening, presenting, giving and receiving feedback.
  • High standard of ethics, integrity and trust.
  • Must be able to pass pre -employment criminal background check.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook.
  • Moderate travel required; must be willing to work in or travel to other locations as needed.
  • Must be available as needed during non-traditional work hours.
  • Must be able to work independently and with groups.
  • Must be able to work under time constraints as needed.
  • 1-2 years previous quarry/mining experience preferred 
  • 2 or more years of experience on plan maintenance/preventive maintenance.
