Job Summary:
Synergy Staffing is seeking a Workday Analyst to take ownership of Workday and ensure the Finance systems meet business needs. The role involves collaborating with Finance leaders to improve workflows, manage system configurations, and provide operational support.
Responsibilities:
• Own the configuration, functionality, and ongoing optimization of Workday with a primary focus on Finance related processes
• Serve as the primary Workday Analyst for Finance users, providing daily operational support including troubleshooting, access management, and reporting support
• Ensure data integrity, security, and confidentiality within Workday through regular audits, validations, and corrective actions
• Partner closely with Finance leaders to understand business processes, goals, and gaps and translate them into effective Workday solutions
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, controls, and user experience within Workday
• Support Workday enhancements and project work through requirements definition, configuration, testing, and validation
• Follow structured change management and release practices to prioritize, test, and deploy updates
• Maintain clear and accurate Workday system and process documentation
• Support training and adoption efforts to ensure users are confident and effective in their use of Workday
Qualifications:
Required:
• Hands on experience administering or supporting Workday in a production environment
• Strong understanding of finance related business processes such as accounting, payroll, reporting, or financial controls
• Demonstrated ability to independently own systems and drive improvements from problem identification through execution
• Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and act with urgency
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across IT and Finance while exercising sound judgment and confidentiality
Preferred:
• Experience supporting Workday Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking, Expenses, or related modules
• Experience performing data audits, validations, and corrective actions within Workday
• Experience delivering system or process training to business users
