The Sr. Workday Analyst acts as a strategic subject matter expert, responsible for the ongoing support, configuration, and optimization of the organization's Workday platform to ensure seamless alignment with evolving business priorities and organizational objectives.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Strategic subject matter expert (SME) for Workday functionality, configuration, and best practices.
  • Owns ongoing functional design. Collaborate with IT on deployment, and maintenance of the Workday platform, including business processes, workflows, approvals, notifications, and master data values (e.g., job profiles, roles, locations).
  • Provides day-to-day end-user support, troubleshooting, and technical guidance. Configure, test, validate, and implement system changes, enhancements, and new modules/features. Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation including user guides, FAQs, and quick reference materials. Deliver mentoring and training to HR teams and system users to ensure effective adoption and utilization.
  • Ensures data quality through audits, validations, and proactive maintenance. Manage system security roles and permissions, ensuring appropriate access and compliance with data privacy and protection standards. Lead governance processes and maintain accountability for data governance and system compliance.
  • Partners with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to document business requirements and collaborate with IT to translate into technical solutions. Support change management initiatives and ensure system alignment with organizational needs and employee experience goals.
  • Build and maintain complex reports to analyze HR data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement. Contribute to the development of actionable HR insights that enhance engagement and business performance.
  • Acts as a consultative partner to HR Business Partners, COEs, and functional leaders. Leads Workday-related projects, road mapping exercises and resource planning to continuously improve service delivery and system capabilities.
  • Stays current with Workday releases and HR technology trends. Evaluate new functionality to identify opportunities for innovation and improved system usage. Drive deployment of feature releases and system maintenance to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Consistently models the Company values and expected behaviors.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S) HRIS or Related Field Required
  • 5+ years Workday experience, including system administration, configuration, reporting, and module expertise (e.g. Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, Learning, Expense, Safety, Time Tracking, Absence Managment).
  • Proven experience across the Workday implementation lifecycle (design, build, testing, deployment) and business process configuration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues and deliver effective solutions.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver timely resolutions.
  • Experience with enterprise HR or Financials applications and system integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to support change management and drive continuous improvement.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Workday Certifications (e.g. Core HCM, Reporting, Security) and analytics platform certifications (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) are a plus
