The onsite wellness program manager is an excellent opportunity to work with the Account Management team and plan sponsor to promote preventive health, healthy lifestyle and behavior changes to address prevalent health risk factors for the plan sponsor's population health dashboard; responsible for driving consistent wellness program development, guidelines and delivery to plan sponsors with diverse employee populations. This position is client-based working alongside plan sponsor's Benefits & Employee Services department with primary work location based in Sunrise and will be traveling throughout Broward county, FL.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Joining the plan sponsor's wellbeing team in designing, facilitating and evaluating effectiveness of wellbeing programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles.
  • Establishing rapport with plan sponsors, engage leaders in data driven decision making regarding support for their employees.
  • Supporting wellbeing champion network including different levels of employer leadership and employees from worksite. Providing guidance and recommendations to support trainings.
  • Identifying the appropriate combination of wellbeing activities for recommendations on delivery and coordination of wellbeing programs, community and vendor programs, and monitor effectiveness of the program.
  • Evaluating and presenting health assessment data, organizational assessment, claim utilization data, employee survey data, biometric screenings data, wellness incentive program data, or other data as appropriate.
  • Utilizing preventive guidelines and general health and wellbeing strategies to achieve goals in the overall health of customers.
  • Educating and referring customers on available health resources, Aetna Care Management programs and community resources as appropriate.
  • Performing research on relevant topics in health promotion and disease prevention, as required for specific customers.
  • Creates and delivers health and wellness education workshops in person and via virtual meetings.
  • Leading presentations in person and using virtual meeting platforms to promote health education and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Building trusting relationships and rapport with customers, internal partners and external vendors including wellness service providers.
  • Being organized, detailed, consistent, holding themselves and others accountable to reasonably meet customer's expectations.
  • Traveling to multiple plan sponsor locations for onsite events and presentations, annual benefits and health fair support, and other school district meetings and events.
    Success in this role is driven by a strong sense of teamwork and the satisfaction of knowing your contributions directly support the achievement of healthy and sustainable lifestyles.
    Required Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience creating and developing workplace wellbeing programs.
  • 3 years of experience encouraging healthy lifestyle behavior changes in wellness areas including nutrition, physical activity, weight management, stress management, tobacco cessation.
  • Proficiency in designing and facilitating in-person and virtual presentations that effectively engage diverse employee populations in health and wellness programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, et al.).
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certified Workplace Wellbeing Program manager or willing to seek and maintain wellness-based certifications, such as those provided by Wellness Alliance, Chapman Institute or other health and wellness certified organizations.
  • Must live in Broward county or within commutable distance to customer work site locations.
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working with group medical insurance products and coverage options.
  • Certified Wellness Practitioner
    Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $132,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
