Job description

Wellness Specialist

Are you someone that is passionate about health & wellness and enjoys helping people? Do you want to feel part of a team that works for one another and the community at large? If so, you may be just the person that we are looking for to join our team as a Wellness Specialist at the Davis Food Co-op!

We are looking for someone who not only knows the basics of the wellness products that we carry but also has the customer service skills necessary to help run a thriving department within our store. As a Wellness Specialist, stocking and providing a great product is only one aspect of your job. This position also requires the ability to assist the Wellness Manager with tasks such as product research, ordering and merchandising.

The Davis Food Co-op is a local cooperatively owned grocery store that is committed to providing the community with fresh, local and sustainably produced products from knowledgeable and friendly staff. Working in the Wellness Department, you would be part of a team that customers regularly approach when they are in need of a wide variety of health, wellness and even beauty products, giving you the perfect opportunity to make them feel welcome during their trip to the Co-op. Our team is made up of people who are both friendly and outgoing as well as hard working and motivated, and we are currently looking for the perfect person to join them. Our next Wellness Specialist will have a great attitude, a willingness to learn, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a flexible schedule that allows them to work on weekends, evenings and holidays. If you think that person could be you, we want to hear from you!

Pay:$16.90 - $21.67 per hour
