In the role of Health and Wellness Nurse working in the Golden Brewery you will be part of the Golden Valley Environmental Health and Safety Team. This position provides medical and health management, delivery of health services and supports employees by overseeing progress through health care process.
 
In this role you will oversee and implement health services to ill/injured employees, including workersโ€™ compensation, medical first response, and return-to-work programs.   In addition, you will manage the occupational health testing and surveillance, and employee wellness initiatives.  This role works closely with site safety, human resources, operations, and others in the identification and correction of risks and maintaining compliance with various federal and state regulations.  
 
This position reports to Sr Manager of Safety and works closely with other leadership within the Golden Valley Operations.
 
What Youโ€™ll Be Brewing
  • Oversees and manages the workersโ€™ compensation program, including providing case management and advocacy for employee as appropriate.
  • Provides oversight for the siteโ€™s Medical First Response program.
  • Provides clinical review and consultation to human resources on the management of the Family Medical Leave program.
  • Supports the return-to-work program process.
  • Manages the Occupational Health Testing and Surveillance programs.
  • Manages and delivers clinical care.
  • Develops and manages site employee wellness program.
  • Supports team performance and creates a culture of employee engagement.
  • Provides support to additional locations as an active member of the Environmental, Health and Safety network.
  • Other tasks that may be associated with Health and Wellness or EHS.
 
Key Ingredients
  • BS or BA in Nursing with Current state license in Colorado.
  • CAHOC Certification or willingness to obtain for hearing conservation.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Minimum of five (5) yearsโ€™ experience in occupational health, ergonomics, safety or other related subject required
  • Minimum of five (5) yearsโ€™ experience in workersโ€™ compensation case management
  • Preferred qualifications include:  ABOHN, COHN, CMM, CRR, CIRS and CRH
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, industrial wellness programs and workerโ€™s compensation process and practices
  • Knowledge of OSHA compliance requirements and other industrial safety and health standards
  • Strong accountability for results, acting with integrity while honoring commitments and safety standards
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $80,300.00 - $105,400.00 (posting salary range) + 10target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
