Job description

Radiology Tech - Weekend

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Willamette Valley and its residents. Our 113-bed hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care. We are a family of caregivers offering care to our larger family — our community.

Position Details:

  • Hourly Base Rate: $36.05 - $45.88
  • Shift: Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon mid/evening shift
    Hours: 8 or 10hr Shifts
  • Rotating call required
  • SEIU Local 49 represented position

Job Summary:

  • Under the supervision of the Diagnostics Imaging management team, the X-ray Technologist performs general radiographic, fluoroscopic, operative, emergency and portable procedures.
  • As part of this, the Technician utilizes sound judgment in selection of exposure factors, film and appropriate patient care, safety and infection control practices.
  • Must demonstrate competency in the operation of all equipment, quality control and clerical tasks required to carry out duties.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or Registry Eligible.
  • Current State of Oregon License.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Prefer experience as a Radiology Technologist in a Hospital Setting.
