Job description

Technology Operations Manager / Software Support Project Manager

Onsite | Full-Time

Our client is seeking a Technology Operations Manager to serve as the bridge between business operations, software platforms, and technology service providers. This is not a hands-on infrastructure or systems administration role. Instead, the focus is on software administration, process improvement, project coordination, documentation, policy development, and vendor management.

Reporting directly to the COO, this individual will oversee technology-related processes, manage the relationship with the organization's Managed Service Provider (MSP), and ensure technology initiatives are properly documented, communicated, and implemented across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and its Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring service delivery expectations are met and technology projects remain on track.
• Manage and coordinate software and technology initiatives, including project scopes, timelines, implementation plans, meeting notes, status reporting, and business documentation.
• Oversee software administration and user support processes for business-critical applications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain technology policies, procedures, workflows, and operational standards.
• Create and maintain training materials, user guides, and process documentation.
• Coordinate software upgrades, implementations, testing, and user adoption efforts.
• Monitor and improve technology support processes to ensure consistent service and accountability.
• Manage communication between end users, department leaders, vendors, and technology providers.
• Supervise an onsite IT Technician while coordinating support activities with the MSP.
• Partner with leadership to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and operational needs.

• Experience managing vendors, MSPs, or third-party technology providers.
• Demonstrated success coordinating technology projects and software implementations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience creating training programs, user documentation, and end-user support processes.
• Comfortable working closely with executives, department leaders, vendors, and end users.
