Typical Hiring Profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. MR Certified BLS Comfortable with working alone Ability to take call (1-2 nights per week) Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Familiar with Meditech Prefers evening shifts

Unit Guidelines/Policies

Be on time, go the extra mile for the patients we serve. Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: We are 3 miles from the beach, 18 miles from St. Petersburg, 24 miles from Tampa, and an easy 2-hour drive to Orlando if you want to do some good Outlet Mall shopping. The former supervisor works weekends, and is always available via phone when questions arise. Director/Manager do not micromanage - allows freedom to complete the patient schedule as long as it does not veer from policy/procedures. We have patient transport to bring floor patients to the department. The ED is approx. 50ft from MRI. Largo Hospital is part of a 15-hospital division – which provides more opportunities for additional contracts in West Florida if desired.
