Schedule:

Part-Time Available

Part-Time: Every Other Weekend | 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Floor Tech to join our team! The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and polished floors throughout our facility.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors
  • Operating floor care equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintaining floors in resident rooms, hallways, and common areas
  • Following infection control and safety procedures
  • Supporting the environmental services team to maintain a clean healthcare environment

Floor Tech Job Summary:

The floor tech Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current Federal, State, Local and Departmental, rules, regulations and procedures, and guidelines. Assures that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. The position carries blood and body fluid "Exposure Risk Level 1."

Floor Tech Major Duties and Critical Tasks:

  • Maintenance of carpet throughout the building including -shampooing, spotting, and vacuuming.

  • Maintenance of all tile throughout the building including washing, waxing, buffing, and stripping.

  • Performs housekeeping duties when needed.

  • Is responsible for linen distribution at the end of the shift.

  • Distributes supplies to each housekeeper at the end of the day.

  • Responsible for trash runs during the day from all assigned locations.

  • Other duties as assigned


Floor Tech Required Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge of side by side, boost machine, and high-speed buffer

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

  • Prior Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a Plus
