We are seeking a Medical Coder to join our growing organization. The Medical Coder reviews providers chart notes ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our billing and reimbursement process. This position is responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning the appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for all outpatient encounters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about supporting the clinics mission of Empowering the American Indian through exceptional healthcare! Key Responsibilities: Review patient records for appropriate CPT, ICD Coding prior to billing. Manage coding queue. Charge ticket entry and print daily charge tickets. Post medical charges. Keep up to date on coding changes. Review insurance and bill charges appropriately. Assist coders with reviewing charts. Maintain CEUs. Other duties
